Cecelia Ahern’s popular novel was adapted by Simon Nye as a two part miniseries for German television broadcaster, ZDF in 2017. The adaptation follows main character, Joyce Conway after she wakes up from a blood transfusion procedure with memories that aren’t hers.
Lively Joyce Conway is happy with her life. Her boyfriend Conor loves her, she enjoys her job behind the scenes at the local radio station and her relationship to father Patrick could not be better. But everything is turned upside down after she has an accident requiring a blood transfusion. She subsequently wakes up with memories that are not hers. Suddenly the vegetarian likes meat, speaks Italian fluently and has the guts to be in front of the microphone as the presenter of her own radio show. And as if that wasn’t enough to deal with, she stumbles into Justin Beckham over and over again. The professor of art fights with a personal crisis and has nothing in common with Joyce - or has he? Because every time they meet, they cannot deny the inexplicable attraction between them…
